( ISapisr, February 2. The annual ram fair opened to-day, the sales being confined to stud sheep. The highest price given was 65 guineas for a Lincoln ram of Mr J, B. Sutton's Southland. His average was £37 3s 9d. Mr Reid's consignment ( nf 15 rams averaged £15, the highest price being 32 guineas. The Hon. Ma their Holmes sold 14 out of 15, at »n average of a^ little over £16, the top price being 35 guineas. Only one of MY MenloveV waa sold at 15 guineas. Mr vobb's Romney Marsh brought an average of £9 9s. Sydney, February 2. At the wool sales prices were j?d higher with a hardening tendency. The advance is most noticeable in lambs' wool and low scoured feorts. (Received February 3, noon.) London, February 2. The w< ol market is spirited. Superior lambs' wool is bringing extreme prices. Good wools are firmer and faulty weaker. The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 107,200,000 bushels.
