THE IRISH DELEGATES.
XO THE BDITOB. Sir, — I believe it is generally known throughout the district the coming of the Irish delegates to Ashburton on December 4th, to lecture on the wrongs of Ireland, and to place those wrongs before the people, and to show them how Ireland is wronged and the means they have m view to get that justice for Ireland which is her right, and which, if I gained, would make her once more a prosperous and a happy country. I mean Home Rule. The wrongs of Ireland are well known to every Irishman, but there are others who know very little about Ireland ; and there are some persons, no doubt, who through various reasons have a strong feeli'g against Home Rule for Ireland. They are the people I should like to see a 1 the lecture, therefore I , hope the committee appointed to see to the tickets will have them at such a price that it will be m the power of all to go to hear the lecture. They should not take other places as a standard for prices, but should look round the district and see if the state of the district will warrant high prices. I am, etc., Anglo-Irishman.
