—♦ Qhristohuroh, November 20 The weather to-day was lovely, and the attendance good. The market was full m many lines, and a considerable amount of stock changed hands. _ Store Sheep — A large entry. The prin cipal lines realised as follows : — Shorn crossbred ewes and lambs 7s to 8s 8d the couple ; shorn merino ewes at 3s iod ; and a couple of lines of four, six, and eight-tooth merino ewes and wethers, m the wool, fetched 8s 4d and ios. FAT Lambs— About 500 were yarded and realised good prices, the demand, both for the trade and freezing, being urgent. Best quality realised from 2jjfd to 3#d per lb, dead weight. Fat Sheep— There was not quite so large an entry as last week, and, with one or two exceptions, the sheep were shorn. The sale opened rather dull, but as the best quality was arrived at the demand had a tendency to improve, and where the primest meat was offered the price was sustained. Generally, however, there was a slight fall m values, equal to from 6d to is per head all round, due principally to the rempoiary closing of the Belfast Freezing Works, Prime quality realised 2)id, dead weight j while small and inferior quality was little more than ij£d perlb. Stork Cattle — There was an immense entry of some very good sorts of cattle, some of which, coming from Port Levy, showed that they had been well treated during the season. They met with a willing market. Yearlings fetched from iSs 'to 245 ; eighteen months old heifers reached 365; steers. £2 ss; two-year-olds, up to £31 and full grown bullocks, m forward condition, reached as much as^3 12s 6d. Dairy Cows were slow of sale, though there were enly a few. In the Fat Cattle sale, beef was very dragging, and there was a general drop all round. Best beef sold at from 18s to 21s per loolbs ; inferior was very difficult to dispose of at less than the first-named figure. Pigs — There was a moderate entry of store pigs of various quality, porkers realising 4Kd.
