WILLIAMS AND BLAND.

Messrs Williams and Bland report having held their weekly sale of horses on Saturday, Oct. 26th. The entry consisted of 26 horses, of which we sold 18. There was a very good attendance of farmers and others, and the bidding for young sorts was on tbe whole spirited. We quote four to six year old mares and geldings, £23 los, £20, £i^£i6 ss, £15 ios, £15; medium sorts, £14, £10; Hacks according to quality, .£lO, £%£6, £$ 153. £$ 103, £S iSs, £i 2s 6d, -23 2s 6d. We also sold on account of Mr Michael Healy the three year old colt • ' Young Hopeful " to Mr W. F. Smith, of Springburiw We feel sure Mr Smith will have a good season with himi He is a big rough colt with plenty of size and bone, and ought to get big stockx Traps — Whitechapel cart, £^z ios ; spring trap, £21. Produce — Derwent potatoes, 8s to gs; crushed oats, 2s 6d per bushel ; oats, 2s 2d to 2s 4d per bushel ; cbickwheat, 8s to gs per bag; wheat stiaw chaff, £2 per ton; oat straw chaff, £2 Cs per ton; bran, 4s 6d per bag; cheese, 4j£d per lb; grass seed, 3s 4d per bushel. . ■ Furniture at fair rates* '
