(FEB PBEBB »SSOOIATIOW.) Auckland, March 19. At the Supreme Court to day, m Chambers, the oase of Fenwick was disoncsed. It will be recollected that the Court formerly found that Fenwiok was of unsound mind, bat capable of taking care of his own afitirs. Mr Mahonoy pow moved for a discharge, but his Honor said he could not grant it under section 179, as he had found that Fen wick was of unsound mind. Mr Mahoney eai:i the position was a very peculiar one Fenwiok'e friends were anxious to have him go to England, but the authorities could not release him A Committee could not be appointed to manage his affairs m the face of the order of the Court, and he could not get oat to manage bin own aff am. His Honor said that if tbe Government chose to set the order of the Court at defiance, the responsibility rested with them No order was made.
