U.A.O.D.

The members of the U.A O. Druids held their half-yearly meeting In the Templar Hall on Monday evening. There was a large attendance. After the uiual rontlne business was concluded, and one brother Initiated Into the mysteries of Druldiim, the Installation of officers for thfl enidlng! half year was proceeded with as follows :— A.D., P. A. Bro JR. Clark : S.P.A., Bro B. Taiker; V.A., Bro W. Pearaon j Secretary, Bro W. T. Potter : Treasurer, P A. Bro H. Vesty ; 1.G., Bro Aslett; 0.G., PA. Bro T. Pauling; A.D.8., Bros A. Plckford and Taylor; M.!?^ Bro F. Tasket j V.A.B. Bo* J, Garter and drum ; Auditor*, D.P. Bro F. Nokes and Stevenson, After the installation the balance sheet and Auditors' report was presented, which showed the Lodge to be In a very flourlahlog condition financially and otherwise. The officers were Installed Into their respective plaoes by D.P. Bro F. Nokes, of No. 13 District, In a most able and Impressive manner. The business being brought to a conoluaion, the brethren retired to calebrate the Installation by partaking of a sumptuous •pread. After spending ceveral pleasant hours In harmony the banquet was brought to a termination* The amount taken (contributions only) for the half year amounted to £128 15a 4d.
