Mi airs Cameron and Jackson were appointed to inspect the road on Springfield for whioh tenders had been called, and to call for fresh tenderafor the work, It waa decided to ahlngle the worst parts of the Lyndhurst road, cost not to exceed £100 Letters were received fr;m Messrs J. Holmes, J. Robs, J. Weir, 0, Chapman, nnd Asbburton County Council. It was deoided to put In foot plattku where required, and that the Clerk sell dog collars for the County Council as last year. The supplementary roto roll and statement of Urown Lauds rateable for*oarrent year were teceived. Messrs Jackson and McMillan were appointed to inspect tbe oroßslngs on tho West 0 aat road required by Mr Cameron, frpriugfield. Accounts to tho amount of £131 11b 2d were passed for payment,
