(PKK FIIESS ASSOCIATION.) London. November 14 and 15 Sir J. Gorst, m reply to a question by Mr Henniker Heaton m the House of Commons said he had received a request from the Government of South Australia similar to Sir T. Mcllraith's, requesting to be furnished with tho name of the proponed new Governor. He had not sent any reply. The " St. James's Gazette " urges that Mr H. Blake's appointment should bo cancelled. " Truth " eulogises Sir H. Blake, but says it is impossible now j to insist on appointing him, Sir H. Blake is expected to arrive m London on Monday next. Pending his arrival the decision of the Government m referenoe to his appointment to Queensland will not be made known. (Received November 17, 1,10 p.m.) London, November 16. Lord Knutsford has warned (sic) Sir H. Blyth that the appointment of a Governor for South Australia will be deferred until the Queensland question is settled. It is rumored that Sir W. Hart Pyke will be selected.
