Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, Ootober 13 :— There vras a large entry of horeea, viz, 49, and about an average attendance of farmers and other country settlers. At the commencement of the sale biddings were somewhat languid, bat as it proceeded they became more animated f>nd a large proportion of the" entry espeoially medium draughts, changed hands at very satisfactory prices, as given below. 34 cut of the entry of 49 were sold is follows; — On a count of Mr James Mcßiide, Green Valley, Palroerstoa South, medium draught mares, .fi.year old*, £21 10s to £27; 3-yoßr old filly, unbroken, £18; 3-year old colts, unbroken, £14, £15 On account of Mr Vf. 8. Wilton, Duoedin, medium draught mares, 5 and 6 year olds, £17 to £21 10b; 4-year old, £17 10s ; 6 year old geldings. £16 10?, £17, £18 10s. On account of Mr Langdon, 5-year old medium draught mare, £25. Other owners, medium draughts, £17 10s, £19 10s; do, of a lighter description, £9 5s to £13; inferior, £5, £5 15a; light harness horses, 3 and 4 year oldß, £8 5s to £13 10s, one of good ■tamp up to £15 10s, according to description; haoks, 3 and 4 yesr bids, of a fairly good stump, £9 15s to £14; others, £0, £6 15s; inferior, £4 ss, £4 10s, £4 15s ; scrabberi, a number changed hancte from £1 7s 6d to £3 155. During the week on account of Mr G F. Scott, 1 have sold tbe well-known thoroughbred entire Athlete, at owner's reserve, Mr Ootayius Digby being the purchaser. Sundries — Spring cart, £12; saddles, horee covers, &o, at market rates.
