Mr Ftlconer I/ukworthy has retired from His position of Managing Director of the Bank of New Zealand on a pension He still retains the position of Managing Director of the New Zeahnd Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Mr T. M. Stewart, of Melbourne, Inspector of the Australian branches of the Bank, succeeds Mr T. G. Plcydell as Acting Manager m London. The new capital of the Bank of New Zealand, to be issued next week, has already been largely applied for. It is expected that the new capital of the Bank of New Zealand will be subscribed nearly threefold. London, October 11.
It is rumored that important changes are imminent m the London Board of the Bank of New Zealand.
