Mr Alfred Harrison reports his weekly «s3a on Saturday, 22nd September, as follows :—
Oaxtlx. — Cows close to calving, £4 to £4 65 ; stores, £2 to £3. Picra.— There was a very largo entry, prices for porkers and stores"" being unchanged ; bnt for suckers and weaners, thongb the demand was good, prloes *ere not nearly so high. Sales were as follow : ttookers 6s Gd, 7s. 7s 61, Bs, 9*63, 10s lls, Us 91, 12s ; weaners, 10s, 11s, 14i ; jforkers, 16s, 17s 6d to 27a 6d. Poultry.— Fowls, 2s to 2a 3d ; ducke, 3§ to 3s 3d
iMPLBMiENTS.— RoIIer, £2 ; spring oart, £17 ; saddles, harness, eto, Pkoduoe. — Derwents, 5s to 6s ; kidneys 5s to 6s ; onions, Id to l£d per lb ; chickwheat, 2s to 2i 6i per bushel ; oats, 1« 9d to 2s 2d per bushel ; grass seed, Is to 2s pot bushel ; sharps, 5i to 6j per bag ; btao, 3s 6d to 4m per bushel ; mutton, Id to 2§i per lb ; tea, 13s to 14s per oheit. A large quantity of boots and shoes, furniture and effects at about fair prloes.
