+ Mr D. Thomas (late of Mitson, Cox and 00 ) reports on the live stock market for the week ending September 11th as fo'lows : — On Tuesday, at the Tlnwald yards', 1 held my usual eale of sheep, cattle, and pigs. The total entry wab 1763 sheep, 60 head of oafctle, and 12 pigß The sheep market was not qaita so brisk a& the provioui aalo, but most of the linea "were sold. In cattle a larger entry than uaual, and a better demand for all store sorts, which is likely to continue as the season advances. I sold f*t croeabred wethers at 14i ; do ewea at 133 ; merino wethera, lls 63 ; m stores, merino wethers 6s 6d ; merino ewes m lamb, 7a to 8a ; crossbred ewes with heavy per oentage of lambs, 14» 3d ; crossbred hogaets, 93 61 to lls 6d. In cattle— Steers, £4 7a 6i to £5 10a ; fltore, eighteen month steers, £2 5a to £2 lls ; yearlings, £1 10s to £2 5a ; cows, £1 12s 6d to £3 5j ; calves, £1 3s 6d. Pigs— s small stores, 15 j ; 6 mixed pigs?, 20s ; 1 sow, £2 9j 6d. j
