At the Addington yards on Wednesday there were moderate entries of both sheep and cattle. Weather beautifully fine, attendance of buyers andothera interested folly an average one. Prime steers sold at from £8 5a to £9 fc per head ; heifere, prime, heavy, from £5 to £8 ; oowa and lie'fera, light weights and inferior, £3 12a 6d to £4 15s, being at from 15s to about 20a per 1001b, according to quality. Store Cattle— Only a email entry, mostly odd lots. A fairly good enquiry was shown, but no sales made of any importance, Dairy Cattle — A ncoderate entry, principally medium sorts ; a fair demand, values unaltered. Fat Sheep— The moderate entry wsb made up of principally very first-rate quality. The demand was both from local and export buyers, and there was good competition for all lines, last week's drop in values being more then recovered. The prlmest orossbred wetbera sold at from 15s to 17s 6d ; some extra heavy weights reaohing 19s ; medlam weight wethers at from lie to 18s 6d ; orossbred ewes from lOi to Us 3d ; merino wethers at from 9a 6d to 13s 6d ; being from 2£d to ,3d per lb for best, and about 2£d for medlam quality mutton. Store Sheep— Only a few lines offering, for whlflh a good demand was shown, all lines selling at more than late quotations. Hoggets sold at from 7s to 10s 3d ; crossbred wethers, In forward condition, up to 12s 7d. Pigs— A large entry, all sorts ; demand fairly good, all lots selling at about late valnes. Baooners sold at from 86s to 535; porkers, 18s to 30s ,• sows in pig, at from 45i to 57b 6d j stweo, 8s to 16i W.
