Tho Master's monthly report was read and approved of. Ovir.g to s family having (eft the district, the Master urged upon the Committee to endeavor to keep np th« attendance. Tae report showed t: at the roll number was 54, and the average attendance waa as follows — Br>ys, 22-4 ; girls, 203 ; total, 427. Dr Anderson having pitd a visit of inspection during the month of Jane, the official report was hid before the Committee On all the points reported upon the Inspector expressed his satisfaction. His remarks on the me'hods and quality of instraotlon, and on the order and dis cipHoe of the school were as follows :— " Both traohera are doing creditable work m very fair methods. A great Improvement has been made binoe last inspection m the execution of tome exeroiaea, then criticised. An excellent spirit of work prevails among the children ; discipline Is satisfactory and fair. The latter Boff.ra through cramped spice." The Committee regarded the Inspector's rpport as highly satisfactory. Mr Shearer moved, and Mr Tlmms seoonded, that the teachers be ootnpllmented on the very oredltable work done m the school, wbioh was oarrled unanimously.
