Oonetablo MoKnight, has visited the soono of the fire at Mr De Oartet's premises at Pakarua Valley, and declares there are no human remains m the debrla, not are there any slgnv of any. The bonea found wer<) probably carried Into hay loft by a dng or cat. and were ordinary meat bones, and noa hnmun bono, at all. A curious discrepancy is that De Cartet stated that there was a skull fouad. Shop Hours Bill. Deceased had hanged himself with his bolt. At the time of hia committal his sanity was doubted. He haa beeu m gaol since February SO.h, and waa well aonduoted.
