ANOTHER MONKEY INCENDIARY.
A few weeks since, for the third or fourth time within a year, a monkey figured as an incendiary, firing the well known s'.eain yacht I^orcua, lying al the wharf in £ew York. Il seems to ha' e gone about tho job with the gr&alesfc deliberation, too — gnawed through the rope with which it was tied up, cleared out a match safe iu the cabin, and then started tho biazj in a place which only a monkey would have thought of between the deck and ceiling of the coal bunkera. |It took the crew al night to licata put out thy fir-, which wtia filling the boat (with smoke, the monkey, ■ whose part in cho affair wsr eßlablislied by indisputable circumstantial evidence, being after wa>. da f-tind on an eccentric bar in the engine room, quietly grinning over the rumpus which it had raised, "I'iroand Water" suggests that monkey mkb will be next heard of iu insurance circles if this kind of thing keeps up.
