FROZEN TO DEATH IN THE SNOW.
LOSS OF LIFE AT SEA.

New York, March 19.
Thousands of navvies are employed m removing the snow from the streets m different towns visited by the recent snowstorm. In many of the streets bodies have been found m a standing posture frozen to death.
A tremendous gale occurred at sea at the same time as the storm was raging on land, and over 200 wrecks have strewn the coast from Chesapeake Bay to New York, The loss of life is incalculable. The effects of the gale were felt with particular severity m Delaware, Maryland, and New York States.
