Adelaide, Febrnurf 4. Sir Arthur Blytb, the Agent-General, has cabled to the Government that the time-table now arranged for the departure ot the F. and O. steamers from here cannot be altered for three months, but at the end of that period the Imperial authorities may alter the day if they choose. Steps will be taken to have the day changed, as the present time-table necessitates running trains on Sunday. (Received February 4, 225 p.m.) ELECTIONS. London, February 3. Mr Matlinson, Conservative, has been elected (or Walton (Liverpool) unopposed. The seat was rendered vacant by the elevation of J, G, Gibson, QC, Attorney-General to the Judges Bench. Mr Dodgson 11. Madden has been selected for Dublin University, and holds the appointment of Solicitor-General fdr Ireland, SENTENCE OF DYNAMITERS. The trial of the dynamiters, Harkins and Collan, was concluded to-day, and a sentence of -15 years penal servitude passed on each of the prisoners.
