HORSE MARKET.
Mr T. Bullock reports for the vreek ending Saturday, 17th December : — 22 horses were offered at the day's sale. There wa»< about an average attendance of farmers and others, and a more spirited bidding for medium draughts suitable for farm work than for some weeka past ; m fact, purchasers for this class could not be supplied. Out oC the entry of 22, 11 were sold as follows, viz. : — On account of Mr Campbell— Medium draughts, of a light description, £13 10a, £15 10s ; 3 and 4 year olds, unbroken, of rather 1 light stamp, £13 10s, £16 10s, £17 ;aged draught, £7 ; light horses, £7 10s, and for one of a good stamp £14 was obtained. Hacks, £4, £5, £5 15s, according to description. 6UHDRIEB.— Farm drays, £6 15s, £7; grass mower, £4 15s ; McCormick reaper and binder twine m good order, £30 ; wire do. £14 Quantity harnese, blinkers, 12s 6d and 13a per pair ; leading Btrapu With belly bunds, 12s. Reaper pole straps, second-hand harness at market rates.
