Mr Alfred Harrison reports his weekly ales on Saturday, 17th December, as folows: — Cows— A few very good springers were rarded, and sales were made at from S3 5s to £3 15a. Pios — All lines penned were sold, the ilgh prices rnlipg lately being well main- ' ained. Weaners, 7a 3i ; slips, 8a 6d, I2s-3d, 14s 6d to 15a ; stores, 8s 6 1 to 15a. Poultry.— Fowl*, la 6J to 2a ; duoks, 2s 9d to 4s 61 per pair ; goeae, 6i, 61 6d, 1 1 to 9i par pair. Prodcob.— Der wants, 2i 6i to 4s 61 per bag ; new potatoes, Id to l&d per lb ; 3hiokwueat, 2a to 2j 6d por bunhel ; bran is 3d ; sharps, 7a ; ornabed oats, 6i 3 i per bag ; mutton, 2d ; veal, 2d ; hams and bacon Id to 5d per lb ; cheeee, 2£d to 3d per lb ; tea 14 ■. Furniture and sundries »s usual. I also held a sale of pledges for Mr [. Salek, and disposed of a large quantity of jewellery gnd other goods.
