Wellington, November 16, At a meeting held this morning to consider the proposed ropeal of the Grown and Native Land a Rating Act, there were present ; — Meßßrs Samuel, Cadman, Graham, Smith, Seddoo, Gritnmond, R. - Reeves, M»rohaut, Hobbs, Newman, and j Moat. There was considerable dismission, ' and it was ultimately resolved that a deputation from the meeting should wail on the Premier to urge upon him the ; necessity of making uonie special provision for the diatrlcto that would he affected by the repeal of the Act.
