MR WALKER AT SPRINGBURN.
Mr Walker addressed Lbo electors at Springburu 1 at evening. There waa a good attendance, about 80 being present. Mr McUrae, Chairman of the School Com nittee, presided and Introduced tha candidate. Me Walker, m a speech of about an hours' dura: i >r>, touched upon the talent pointa of the present contest, aad waa very frequently applauded. After answering a number of questions, a vote of thanks and confidence waa curried unanimously on the motion of Mr D. Stott, seconded by Mr McLyraont. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated a very enthusiastic meeting.
