The Dominion Government proposes to send a Commission to Asia for tha parpose of promoting the trade of Canada with China and Japan. Allcffirts np to the present of the Dominion to ex'end Canada's foreign trade have bee n utterly barren of result*. There ia trouble on the coast of New foundland between English and French fisherman, and the warship Daores has driven the former from the fishing ground they usually occupied.
