Napibr, Jnly 29. Mr J. Ivgbb, late member for Wakanui, arrived here last night. Ho was met at the station by a large deputation of Liberal electors, who warmly cheered him. A meeting was held subsequently at which nearly 400 were present and gave him an enthusiastic welcome. A requisition, with 305 signatures, was presented, and Mr Ivbbb acoepted the Invitation, He gave a short address, making a very favorable impression. He' will have to fight hard to beat Mr Ormond, but is party Is confident of sneoess. He addresses the electors on Wednesday or Thursday. [ Thames, July 29.
