Chf.istchurch, July 29. Ihia morning Mr Justice Johnston gave judgement for the plaintiff m the action Fryer v. Aynsley and others, thus de daring Fryer entitled to sit at the New Zealand Shipping Company's Board of Directors. Mr Harper for defendant, obtained leave to appeal- The case arose out of proceedings at last annual meeting, when the late J. L, Coster was elected director. He had not paid a previous call, and Mr Fryer, who was defeated, claimed to have been duly elected, and that votea e;iven for Coster were thrown away. .
