HORSE MARKET.
Mr T. Ballook reports for the week * ending Saturday, July 23rd :—There was a larger entry of horses than for some weeks past, viz, 26. Amongst them were a number of medium draughts, and for those of a fairly good stamp biddings were animated, and up to £22 eaoh was bid for a pair of aged but was refused by the vendor, but for those of a lighter description, it was difficult to obtain blda, which fa a proof of what I often reported, that horses of a really. good stamp always command ready sales, at remunerative price 3, and farmers would do well to consider this and only breed from first class stook. Only a small proportion of the day's entry changed hands. Medium draughts four and live year olds, of rather a light des criptlon, £17 10a, £20; aged, of a good stamp, up to £14 10s ; inferior do, £8. No light harness horses changed hands.
