ASHLEY.
The old electorate has been decreased by Kaiapoi Island being given to Kalapoi and the country between the Makerikeri river and the Kowai riding to Cheviot, and increased by that part of the Mandeville riding west of the railway line and of Rangiora borough being added from Kaiapoi and by the back boundary extending to Pnketiraki range. The boundarie.3 of the new eleotorate are on the north* waßt by Puketiraki range from Waimakariri river to Ashley head, on the notth-ec9t from Aehley head and by Lee's Pasß along tha boundary of the Waipara riding to western boundary of Kowai riding, on the east by that riding boundary to Mount Grey, thence by the Makerikeri river to Ashley river and by that river to the railway, thenoe by the railway to the western boundaries of Banglora, Kaiapoi, and the Island to the Waimakarirl, on the south-wejt by that river to the starting point.
