AVON.

The old electorate has been extended northward to Stewart's Gaily, and sooth into the old Ltnooln electorate to Halewell Junction road. It his been curtailed by all the area west of Prebbleton and Kaiapoi Junction road being cat off, also, all the area south of Horseshoe Lake riding between the Avon river and Purarakanul Btream, The new electorate ib bennded on the north by the Waicnakariri river and Stewart's Gully, from Prebbleton and Kaiapoi Junction to the sea, on the east by the sea, on the south by the' Avon river to Horseshoe Lake road, thence by that ' road and Purarakanui stream to the north-oast corner of ceot ; on 1119, thenoe west along the real line to the north-east' corner of section 313. 313, thence by the back line of seotionß 313, 312, and 308 to Bligh's road, and by this road and the Wairapapa road to seotion 2201, thence south-west by the road croßaing Fendalton road between sections 115 and 117, thence southerly by the Lincoln and R : coarton Junction road to tha railway, thence easterly along the railway line to the Linooln road, thence by the Lincoln road and along the west aide by Sydenham borough to Oolombo road, thence north by that road to the Heathoota river. On the south by that river, the oanal reserve and Halswell Junction road. On the west by Prebbleton and Ha Is well Junotion road t) the starting point.
