AKAROA.
The old electorate la diminished by the tidings of Port Levy and Port Victoria being added to Lyttelton, and increased by the addition of that part of the old Heathcote electorate to the nouth-weat of Dyer's Pass road and the Port Hills and the LTalawell river, alsu by the addition from the old eleotorate of Lincoln of the area comprised between the townships of Lincoln and Selwyn, and between the railway line and Lake Elletimere. The boandan os of the new eleotorate are :— Beginning* at the mouth of the Selwyn, and following the oonrae of that river to the rwlway bridge, thenc^* easterly by the railway to Lincoln township, but not to include It ; thenoe southerly by the road line to thetiearest bend of the Halawell ; theuce north by the Harwell to the oanal ;eaerve and to the Haathoote, and thenoe to Dyer's Pass road ; thence south by that road to the top of the hill and to the boundary of Port Victoria riding ; thenoe couth ■east and north by the boundaries of
the riding of Port Victoria and Porl Levy to the sea ; thenoe east and southwest around Banks' Peninsula and Lake Ellesmere to the atarting point.
