The old electorate comprised the borough. The new electorate, m addition, takea m the Sumner district and . all between the Port Hills and the Heathcote river round to Dyer's Pass road ; also, on the harbor side, the ridings of Port Victoria and Port Levy, taken from the Akaroa eleotorate.
