HEATHCOTE.

All of the old electorate sonth of the Heathcote river and the Estuary has been cat off and added to Lyttelton and Akaroa. The new eleotorate Is made up of what is ieft of the old district north of the Heathcote river and of the eaetarn portion of Sydenham. The boundaries are :— On the north and east by the Avon river and the Euuary ; on the Booth by tho Heathoote river aadTennyaon'dstreet ; on the west by a line beginning at the south ond of Colombo road, Sydenham, and by it north to Broaghara street;, thence east by that street to Waltham mad, thence north by that road to the Town Belt, thenoe east by the Town Belt and Ferry road to the south-east corner of Richmond, thocc3 north by Blohmond to the river Avon.
