HERAT IN DANGER.
[BIUTIB's TILZGRAHB— COPYRIGHT.] London, April 8. Anxiety is felt that a rebellion m Afghanistan is imminent, also that an attack will be made by Turkestan on Herat. The whole country is believed to be m a disturbed state. The Rus•ians are manifesting great activity m Central Asia, and the Russian Press is urging that the present affords a good opportunity for a further advance towards India, and with that end m view suggests the immediate occupation of Herat.
