A considerable sensation has been caused m Chicago by the discovery of a prominent banker's daughter m a Chinese opium den at night Tho young lady, who is very beautiful, was lyiDg on her back on a Bofa. The odour from opium and filth was aiokening. As, on tho lady rocovpring consciousness, it was ascertained that no foul play had taken place, but that she had entered the don hersolf, and not for the first time, great and almost successful efforts woro nude to hush the matter up.
