The panics which occurred on the Continental Bourses prove to have been the work of speculators. Lonhon, February 6. The export of horses has been prohibited m Austria. Grueff, BendererT, and other refugees have been arrested at Bucharest for endeavoring to foment a revolution m Bulgaria and Roumania. London. February 7. The appeal of his Holiness the Pope to the Roman Catholic candidates for seats m the Reichstag has caused dismay m the ranks of the clerical party. The elections are likely to result m favor of the Government Bbbmn, February 7. Addressing a meeting last night, Herr Windhorst declared that the Roman Catholic electors of Germany would disregard the Pope's advice to support those candidates who would vote for the increase m the army Bill.
