TRAINING NOTKS. Christchurch, October 25. Training lias been much interfered with by bad weather, but, notwithstanding the difficulties, Cup horses have been kept hard at it. Nelson has done several strong gallops in good form, and this morning covered three miles before daybreak. Maligner is rapidly improving. First Co dis not pleasing bis friends, and Creino ne shows a bit of temper at his work. Fusillade. Disown* d,and Torrent are moving in capital form. I :chiel is in a great fettle. The four last-named h *raea are g* nsrally expected to furnish the winner of the cup. Tasman, Hermitage and Moana have done good useful work. Kuby is very fit and Leon and Tit-bit have recently performed satisfactory gallops. Spade Guinea has been eased, but is at work again and looking well. Aprop is is backward in condition, but Pa'r clan will have a say a the big race. Liverpool, Talebearer Argonaut and Take Mias, although still lef. in the race, will be non-starters.
