Meeting of the Cabinet.

It is announced that a meeting of the Cabinet has been held, at which Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Chief Secretary for Ireland reported, that the state of (hat country was reassuring. The Cabinet decided that Parliament be prorogued so soon as supply has been obtained. A Committee of the Cabinet was appointed to consider the position of affairs in Ireland.
