THE WRECK OF THE PELHAM.
Bluff, August 15.
The s.s. Pelham broke in two on Saturday at 5 pm , owing to a fresh wind and swe 1 having sprung up fr m eastward on Friday afternoon, which still continues. If t'~e sea increased much more in a short time ft will completely break up the steamer. At present litt'e or no wreckage hss drifted ashore. The wreck will be sold to-morrow..
The enquiry into the circumstances attending the wreck was continued on Saturday and adjourned ’ill to-day.
