THE CENTRAL ASIAN DIFFICULTY.
A Deadlock.
[eeutee’s telegrams —copyright. ] London, July 20
Intelligence is to hand from Central Asia that a difficulty has arisen between the British and Russian Commissioners, for the delineation of the Afghan frontier, who are now at Khoja-Saleh on the Oxus. The Russian Commissioners claim a tract of fertile country extending twelve miles along the banks of that river. The demand is objected to by the British representatives. The difficulty has been referred by the Commissioners to their respective Governments.
