CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
Christchurch, June 16
The United Canterbury Charitable Aid Board met to-day to consider the proposed amendments to the Charitable Aid Act re adopting the property tax bisii for collecting rates to support charitable inatituti- H". The Board was unable to m‘ke up its mind on the subject, the farther consideiation of wHch was adjourned to Wednesday next.
