(BV TELEGRAPH.) Dunedin, To-day.
An escape of gas took place yesterday evening in W. T. Gilmout’s house in Walker street, which occasioned (he death of his father, James Gilraonr Ga?nr, by suffocation. Gilmour Gsenr went to bed about half past six, and his son, upon entering the room at half-past eight uotioed°a strong smell of gas, and found his father in bed dead. Gilmour was about year* of ago.
