,Thb City op Perth. —The ship City of Perth has been sold privately for L 6,000 to Mr John Mill, of Port Chalmers. This is not so bad, considering that the vessel was sold as she lay on the Timaru beach (cargo of wheat included) for LBOO, and tl?at the wheat subsequently realised L6OO to the lucky purchasers of the Wreck. ‘ Holloway s Ointment and Pills.— Diseases of the Bowels.—A remedy, which has been tested and proved in a thousand different ways, capable of eradicting poisonous taints from ulcers and healing them up, merits a trial of its capacity for extracting the internal corruptions from the bowels.
