In pursuance of ilie provisions of “ The Canterbury Roads Ordinance, 1872,” and of “The Rating Act,lß76,’’Public Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Board for the Longbeach Road District, I at their next usual meeting, to be held on FRIDAY, the 7lh clay of July next, to make a General Rate of SIXRESCE in the £ on the value of all the Rateable Property in the District for the period commencing on the Ist day of-January, 1882, and ending on the Slat day of December, 1882, payable in one sum on the 14th day of July, 1882.
