A private telegram from Foo Chow, under 29th May, gives the following report of the local tea market : —The opening prices of the season are two taels above last season’s prices for fine to finest qualities, and one tael for medium and common. The crop is equal both In quality and quantity to last season’s, and a large amount of business is doing. The following steamers are loading : Killarney, Douglas, for Melbourne; Menmuir, for Sydney; Tannanice, for Adelaide; Bowen, for New Zealand. Freight, 60s ; exchange, 3s xod. The present stocks comprise 200,000 packages.

Sydney, Yesterday.
New Zealand wheat has advanced to 6s gd per bushel, and New Zealand oats to 4s; maize has also risen, and is now quoted at 5s Bd, an advance of 6d as compared with last week’s prices. The s.s. Raleigh. Brisbane, Yesterday. The steamer Raleigh, which went ashore at King Reef, near Cardwell, on the 12th ult., was successfully floated off to-day, but owing to the pumps fouling it was found necessary to beach her at Barard Island. Her present position is, however, believed to be quite safe.

Wheat is unchanged at 6s to 6s 3d ; town flour, per ton, Ll 4; and country brands, Ll 3.
