The Irish Land Bill. London, June 21. In'the House of Commons -to-night the third clause of the Irish Land Bill was offered, and after further debate, passed in Committee. Government is; now meeting the views of the opponents of the measure in a concilatory spirit, in order to facilitate its passage. Affairs at Candahar. Calcutta, June 20. Telegrams ate to hand from Candahar announcing that since the defeats inflicted, prior to 7 th inst., at Girishk, by the Ameer’s troops upon followers of Ayoub Khan,’further engagements have taken place between the two forces. In the last encounter Ayoub’s adherents were completely'defeated- and put to rout, and have neighborhood of GirishK.' It 15 now stated, however, that Ayoub Khan, with a considerable following, Krigsafed (siq, Guricsafe ?) to ‘reinforce his routed trpbps.' ' The Disturbance at Marseilles. Paris, June 20.
