The Conservatives in the House of Commons have resolved to endeavor to amend the Irish Land Bill introduced by the Government. Owing to the increasing number of outrages committed in Dublin, that district has been proclaimed under the Coercion Act. There is considerable excitement amongst the adherents of the Land League in Ireland. It is rumored that the Government propose an attack on the Land League as a body. The London Times declares that the condition of Ireland is more serious now than it was before Parliament met and Government introduced their special legislation. London, May 2. Mr Dillon, member for Tipperary, has been arrested and lodged in Kilmainham gaol, Dublin. Mr Parnell, alluding to the arrest in the House of Commons, said he regretted that Government had deprived bis friend the member for Tipperary of his rights. The Home Rule members were much irritated at the action of Government, and obstructed the business of the House.
