[per rbuter’s agency.] Death of “The Indefatigable.” Melbourne, April 14. Mr R. C. secretary of the Victoria Racing Club, is dead. A Substantial Reward-To-day. The Board of Commissioners appointed t 6 distribute the Kelly reward fund has made the awards. Superintendent Hare receives the highest reward of LBOO. Thanks. Sydney, April 14. A deputation of Italian residents in this city waited upon the Premier, Sir Henry Parkes, to-day, and presented him with a letter expressing in grateful terms their appreciation of the generous action of the New South Wales Government in affording assistance and shelter to their countrymen, the Italian immigrants belonging to the Marquis de Ray’s expedition, who recently arrived here from New Caledonia in a destitute condition.
