(Per Reuter's Agency.) The Council and the Reform Bill. Melbourne. March 24. The Legislative Council last night passed a resolution declining to receive the Reform Bill from the Assembly for consideration, on the grounds that the question had already been dealt with during the present session, and, moreover, because the House was of opinion that such measure should have been initiated in the Council, and not in the Assembly. Melbourne, Tc-day. The Age to-day, in a leading article, comments in angry terms on the action of the Legislative Council in declining to consider the Reform Bill. The Atgits also disapproves of the shelving of the reform question, and says that the country expects that the same should be decided on its merits. Adjourned. The Legislative Assembly at its rising last night, adjourned till Wednesdav next.
