{Per Jientet's Agency.) Trickett's Brother Defeated. Sydney, Nov. 14. The sculling match between Trickott brother of the champion) and Rush took place yesterday on Paramatta river. Rush won easily by three lengths. The betting was 5 to 4 on Trickett. The Sorato Afioat. Adelaide, To-day. The Orient Company’s steamer Sorata, has been safely floated. The Sorata has been brought to Semaphore, and will ultimately proceed to Melbourne. Gold Missing. Melbourne, To-day. A box containing L 5.000 in gold, consigned to the Bank of New Zealand is missing from the steamship Tararua, which arrived yesterday. It is thought possible that it has been left at Dunedin, where the Tararua’s cargo was transhipped from the Hawea.
