(Per Press Asoociation.) A Horse Stealer. Dunedin, To-day. Christie, the notorious horse-stealer, on being arrested on Saturday for larceny at Naseby, attempted suicide by opening a vein in his arm. At the City Court today, he received sentence of 12 months in prison. No More Immigrants ! Mi’. Rolleston. a letter to Mr. Brown, M.H.R., says that Government is unable to accept any more applications for nominated immigrants at present.
