Radio Works For Safety On Roads

N2wW ZEALAND public strongly supports the national Road Safety Week Campaign, now being held in New Zealand. In Dunedin radio is. doing its fair share, 4ZB is broadcasting daily messages during the breakfast, midday and children’s sessions, and again during the best listening period each night. Every night a 15minute play or talk is being presented, . Taiks and messages are being broadcast by 4YA, the campaign being opened on Monday night by Mr. J. Ironside, headmaster of the Arthur Street School, in speaking on "Safety First Work in Schools." Pioneer broadcasting station, of New Zealand, little 4ZD is giving support; a special talk {and possibly a playlet) will be broadcast on Thursday. Campaign will be brought to a close on Saturday night.
